South Side Studios

South Side Studios is a growing community arts organization in the heart of Appalachia – Petersburg, WV – that serves as a hub for community arts activity: supporting artists, fostering a thriving creative economy in our region, and encouraging everyone to find joy in creative practice.

The Studios are located on the second floor of Petersburg’s Visitor Center and train station, the South Side Depot.

In the space you will find working artist studios as well as gallery, classroom, and event space. But the work of South Side Studios is not confined to this space alone. South Side Studios partnerships and activities take place with other arts and community organizations all around Grant County and throughout the Mon-Forest region.
