About Kristian Yeager

I work mainly in pointillism with pen and ink; but also create natural assemblages, fun illustrations of creatures and cryptids.

My art is inspired mainly by natural patterns. Insect wings, wood growth, mold, leaves, feathers…. inspiration is everywhere.

Even though I’m not a “full time” artist, I still find time to create and love to share in creation with others. I teach elementary art full time in Hardy County and believe anyone can make art!

I try and apply my classroom mission through life: “Art is a language and even though we all speak with different dialects and accents, we can use our own art to love one another across all barriers.”
