Joel Peckham

Joel Peckham is a poet, essayist, and scholar. He has published fifteen collections of poetry, nonfiction, and scholarship –most recently Any Moonwalker Can Tell You: new and selected poems (SFA), Gone the Sun (UnCollected Press), Outraged and Amazed: Transgressing the South in Faulkner’s Absalom, Absalom! (Cambridge Scholars), and the forthcoming, The Outer Marker: The 1970 Marshall Plane Crash and the Story of an American Town (UPK), co-authored with Dr. Rachael Peckham. Currently, he is a professor of American Literature and Creative Writing at Marshall University and serves as the Coordinator of Undergraduate Programs for the English Department.
