Jennifer Waggener

I am Jennifer. In my professional life, I founded and run a nonprofit called Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley. We provide an array of free services to our community’s older neighbors using volunteer power.

On the personal side, I have been married for 44 years, and we have built a life that I treasure, filled with adventure, love, and family. We have two grown children, three grandchildren, and one black Lab named Jack, each of whom fill us with such happiness.

I’ve been crafty all of my life, but something changed when I turned 60 a couple of years ago. I became intentional about my pursuit of happiness, letting all the stuff and junk that no longer served me fall away. What was left – family, service, and creativity- became my priorities.

My goal every day is not just to chase joy, but to capture it and share it, far and wide.
