I strive to make touching and impressive work that commentates on the subtle and not so subtle emotions and profound concepts in human life. My work is one of passion, and I hope to inspire others with the work I create and help others to create. I also believe that art doesn’t always have to have a greater meaning, and can be appreciated in the beauty and work that it is. To make a career out of creating and helping others to create means everything in my art.

Biography

My name is Macy Belcher, I’m a senior at Chapmanville Regional High School in Logan county. I am a painter, collage artist, sculptor, and illustrator. My favorite mediums are mixed collage work and oil paint, often combined. I love portraits and studying the human form and shape, but am comfortable in other forms like still life, abstract, and landscape. Currently, I’m on my mission to make my passion my income.
